Australian AgTech companies and innovators are being celebrated for their achievements with a slew of recent award wins.
Universal ag data dashboard provider Pairtree won 'Farm Management Innovation of the Year' at the 2021 AgTech Breakthrough Awards conducted by leading US market intelligence organisation AgTech Breakthrough in August.
“Many farmers and land managers suffer from an overload of data. They’re not able to leverage the data that they have to make objective, repeatable decisions. Pairtree has managed to overcome the issue of interoperability for on-farm and supply chain data flow by solving the data silo issue and providing data convergence services to farmers from multiple data sources,” said Bryan Vaughn, Managing Director of AgTech Breakthrough Awards.
“Congratulations to Pairtree - our choice for ‘Farm Management Innovation of the Year.’ They have been able to break through the barriers of big data, with a simple farmer friendly dashboard approach, supplying actionable outcomes for the farmer.”
In early September, Farmbot Monitoring Solutions became the inaugural winner of the 'Sustainability, CleanTech, Agtech' category at the Technology Scale-Up Awards which recognise disruptive Australian technology businesses that have shown exponential growth and industry-leading innovations while making a significant impact in their respective industries. The win is a huge endorsement for Farmbot’s real-time water monitoring solutions, which leverages IoT devices with satellite and cellular connectivity to alert farmers when there is of issues with water supply as they occur, saving producers time, money, and megalitres of water.
