AgTech Finder podcast returns this February

The AgTech Finder podcast is returning on Monday 12 February. Host Olivia Calver will tackle a wide range of topics, from drought resilience and pasture management, to methane emissions, and trade and traceability.

The format remains the same as last year, with each 30-minute episode featuring commentary from an independent expert, a technology supplier, and a farmer using the solution in their operations.

This approach ensures the podcast delivers practical and trustworthy advice to every listener; no matter their background.

“What I have loved about doing this podcast is hearing from the huge variety of farmers and businesses using agtech, some of the guests so far were very much early adopters who had incorporated agtech all throughout their operation, while others were self-proclaimed “technophobes” who had brought in some agtech to solve a particular issue they were having on farm," said host Olivia Calver.

"Every single farming business is unique, but I think the podcast has shown that agtech can be for everyone.

"I’m really excited to be bringing it back in 2024. We’ll be talking about some big-ticket items, everything from drones to automation, and hearing how both family businesses and corporates are integrating agtech successfully.

It can feel like there’s endless choices when it comes to agtech so hopefully we can continue to give some practical insights to farmers on what’s out there and how tech can be used on farm.”
