East Coast Drones

East Coast Drones (ECD) is on a mission to help our clients improve their work place by implementing smart technology to help carry the load. ECD started in 2017 as a way to move large mobs of cattle around a regenerative agricultural property in central Queensland.  With a lot of flying hours and experimentation we recognized the potential of our DJI Mavic Pro, and so began our journey. Checking tanks and water troughs along with accessing difficult mountain country to move cattle was just a few of the jobs we could carry out effectively with this system. Currently we are flying agricultural drones, which are  capable of planting crops and pastures along with spraying weeds. We also have X Mission drone able to map paddocks to produce 2D and 3D maps, that when combined with a multispectral camera, are able to give feedback about plant health with pinpoint accuracy. Having minimal impact on the environment and landscape is part of East Coast Drones mission.
