FDP is a platform providing on-farm connectivity to sensors that can be placed up to 20 km away. FDP operates on the farm without the need for backhaul or internet connectivity or a telco. However, if any of these do exist, it can leverage these too. FDP can connect to any sensor once it has gone through a simple on-boarding process.
FDP can address connectivity to sensors across cropping, livestock, operations and almost any aspect of agriculture. Sensors that have already been on-boarded include sensors for water management, electric fences, cattle collars, with plenty more in the pipeline. FDP can also support Wifi for higher speed applications as well as ethernet for wired applications (such as video cameras for surveillance).
