Data collection is via UAV (drone) that uses a multi-spectral sensor. Weeds identified and mapped into 5m x 5m prescription map that integrates with various types of sprayers and monitors. Uses deep learning techniques and in-house machine learning algorithms to analyse the image and detect the weeds in the field. The process then generates a variable-rate prescription map suitable for standard spray unit control boxes. The map is a binary on/off map that integrates with the boom sectional control. Hummingbird will send a drone pilot to fly the area, processes the imagery and produces a prescription map for the grower.
