Inmarsat's Agronomy Management Solution is a managed service that allows farms and agricultural supply chains to instantly access data from across their estate, resulting in smarter decision making, increased profits and reduced outgoings. Information and data can be made available in real-time from sensors, weather stations, farm machinery and irrigation equipment. If your estate is located in areas of unreliable or non-existent terrestrial connectivity we use our global satellite network to ensure a reliable flow of data from the field to your business applications.
Our service is hardware and software agnostic and we work with a variety of sensor and software providers.
| Pricing model | Inmarsat have a range of pricing models depending on the solution required. Fully managed services can be provisioned on a monthly subscription fee or modular pricing models that are aligned to our customers' requirements. For simpler or smaller solutions, it may be more suitable to provide per unit pricing for hardware and connectivity. Inmarsat and our partner network will work with our customers to design the pricing model. |

| Installation process | Typically our solutions are installed by a network of local Distribution Partners (DP) of Inmarsat. Where required, Inmarsat will provide additional support and expertise to ensure that the solution meets the needs of the customer. Depending on the solution required, these can be installed by the farmer or their team. Inmarsat has a very exclusive network of partners throughout the world that have the required manpower to install the solutions. |
