DN200-RN

The DN200-RN is a four channel radio telemetry unit, suitable for monitoring and/or control applications, where no more than four inputs or outputs are required at the location. The DN200-RN connects to the network through the DN300- GW via radio. Depending on the solutions required at the site, there are a range of modules available that plug into the main board. Applications include:

• Tank and channel level monitoring

• Weather station or weather sensors

• Soil moisture •Flow meter, pressure sensor, flow switch

• Pump control – electric or diesel

• Solenoid control

• Water quality sensors

For installations where there will likely be a requirement for more than four inputs or outputs at a later date, it is advisable to use a DN300, which has 8 channels. DN200-RN is supplied with:

• Enclosure

• Main board

• Radio

• Solar panel

• Mounting brackets

• Battery holder

• 10 x AA NiMH batteries Plug in modules for required solutions are an additional cost.

Please refer to the module information page. Antennas are separate as the appropriate antenna will be based on the transmission distances required

Pricing model

Pricing is based on the cost of the DN200-RN, the modules required for the solution, the sensors required and installation. The ongoing fee structure for a network is based on the number of connected devices. Pricing steps up from the starting network price which includes up to 99 connected devices. The next price step up for a network with 199 connected devices. The yearly fee includes data hosting, data management, SIM card, up to 99 SMS alerts per month and access to the web platform.

Installation process

Equipment can be sent pre configured or can be configured and installed by an authorised reseller. The installation process will vary depending on the solution that is being installed. The DN200-RN requires a DN300-GW to be installed and is generally used within a network where there are multiple sites. It is not a DIY solution as it requires a trained installer to set the system up.

Ongoing maintenance required and support provided in Australia

With remote access to all data from each device, we are able to monitor the operation of the system, including battery voltages, solar input voltages, charging currents and battery temperatures. Depending on what the equipment is connected to, maintenance is minimal for some monitoring applications such as levels, soil moisture, weather, pressure and more. General maintenance really involves making sure that the solar panels are clean and for weather stations, that the rain gauges are clean and the buckets do not have litter, bird droppings or dust inside of the bucket or on the tipping device. For sites that are being used for pump monitoring and control, the maintenance generally relates to the equipment that the DN200-RN is connected to.
