Pricing model

The pricing of the units will depend on what sensors or solutions are required. The design of the DN300-GW is modular, therfore the price of the unit will vary according to the solution required as well as the number of sites that are required. Units can be configured to operate as a standalone device, with cellular communication only, or with the addition of a radio module, can be upgraded to a gateway. Units that connect via cellular networks have a yearly fee that covers data hosting, data management, access to web site, alerting and SIM cards. For networks that have a gateway and multiple sites that link via radio have a yearly fee that are based on the number of devices connected. The initial plan includes up to 99 connected devices.

Installation process

Installations in most cases are carried out by one of our authorised resllers. Units are pre configured prior to installation, including connection of required modules, configuration of DataNode, testing and setting up of web site.

Ongoing maintenance required and support provided in Australia

Remote communication to the unit allows for monitoring of sensors as well as diagnostics of radio and cellular signal strength, battery state of charge, solar input voltage, charging current and battery temperature. Maintenance can be conducted by end users, which generally would involve cleaning of solar panels, making sure there is no insect ingress and that sensors are clean and operational, particularly rain gauges. With remote access to each unit, we are able to provide users with details of potential faults. Being modular in design, replacement parts can be sent, or in the case of batteries can be sourced locally if desired.
