CR-X is a radio (wireless) system for transmitting a switch state. For example, one unit of the CR-X pair is connected to the pump, with a level switch at the water tank connected to the second CR-X unit. Water can then gravity feed to the stock troughs.
The CR-X units are ideal for remote control of pumps and valves where laying of cable is expensive, not feasible or simply not desired. They are also useful for remote monitoring of switch states (e.g. pressure and flow switches).
The CR-X units can be powered by mains power or solar, and are therefore ideal for switching solar pumps. Units can be placed up to 6km apart, and repeater units are available to extend that distance or relay around or over obstructions.
