SeedCount 6000 Image Analysis System

SeedCount is an image analyser designed specifically to analyse the physical characteristics of grains, pulses and oil seeds. SeedCount scans a tray of seeds using a flat bed scanner. The image is analysed using imaging analysis software that measures length, width, thickness and colour of the seeds. Each seed is analysed separately and a spreadsheet is generated to report the physical parameters associated with the seed. A parametric software analyses the seeds for specific characteristics including blacktip, blackpoint, fusarium, bin burn, broken seeds, smut, yellow belly, vitreousness, etc.

SeedCount has application modules for rice, wheat, barley, durum, corn, coffee, lentils, beans, peas, oats, canola and sorghum. SeedCount has been developed to perform seed analysis amongst plant breeders, agricultural scientist, grain traders and farmers.
