Our device Alfie is trained on 4 million images from various locations to identify Australian animals with high accuracy. The device has built-in power, connectivity, and software that can recognise animals and their stress signals. The device does not rely on cloud connectivity to recognise events and can process them locally. It uses narrow bandwidth connectivity which is available throughout remote areas of Australia. Alfie needs to be placed in locations where it can sight lambing ewes. The device has the capability to build models specific to your farms and will provide alerts with high accuracy. It is an innovative solution and currently under trial in Victorian farms for this use case.
Pricing model | Hardware is priced per unit, with economies of scale. There are no costs for data transactions for example data uploads from sensors are free and downloads of data are free. There is an annual subscription fee that will kick in after one year of device operation. |
