The Waterwatch LS1 is a highly configurable non-contact remote liquid surface level sensor ideal for water storage monitoring. Trusted by water utilities, councils, regional government, and homeowners around the world, the LS1 is the gold standard in water level monitoring.
The LS1 can be configured to take measurements at intervals between every 5 minutes to daily, providing from 3 to 10+yrs battery life.
Effortlessly monitor dams, ponds, troughs, and open tanks to ensure they are working effectively and you are maximising the use of your water assets. Liquid level measurements are collected by the LS1 and communicated to the Waterwatch Live cloud platform providing up to date measurement information. Rising, falling and rapid change alarms can be set and used to positive results.
Waterwatch hardware and software is priced with economies of scale. Software and data connectivity is provided as a monthly or annual subscription fee on a per sensor basis. There are no extra costs for data consumption or extra users. 10 free SMS/Text message alarms are provided per month. Push messaging to the Waterwatch app and email are not limited.
The sensor can be installed by the farmer/ producer. Mount the sensor over the liquid to be measured ensuring that there is a clear path from the sensor to the liquid. Use the Waterwatch mobile app to test and configure the sensor.
Waterwatch sensors are designed to be "set and forget" in the field. If your sensor is reporting strange measurements please check the support documents at https://help.waterwatch.io, contact your local Waterwatch rep or call our support staff.

Carwoola Station (MLA)The historic Carwoola Station near Canberra Australia relies heavily on the river that runs directly through its heart. Water is pumped from the river to holding tanks and ponds, for irrigation and stock. The river provides for the station but it is also one of the biggest hazards when in flood. A significant productive area of the station is within the river flats that are subject to flooding from time to time. Waterwatch LS1 sensors were mounted at three points along the river providing river level visibility to station staff while on or off the property. With built in level threshold triggers and rapid level early warning capability the staff are always aware of when and where it is safe to cross the river.
