The Aporo is a robotic apple packer that was developed from the ground up specifically for packing fresh apples for export. This world first technology is designed to retrofit into existing grading lines and is capable of packing apples at 120 fruit per minute, or the same as two people, with better fruit presentation and softer handling.

The Aporo technology includes:

Patented pick-and-place robot
Latest 3D depth cameras, with custom machine vision algorithms to achieve precise apple orientation
Dynamic tray pocket sensing using 3D camera technology, to pack any tray type automatically.

The Aporo robotic apple packer is installed and serviced by Robotics Plus’s Australian sales and distribution partner, Global Pac Technologies.

All servicing requirements are handled by Robotics Plus’s sales and distribution partner, Global Pac Technologies. The Aporo requires very basic daily maintenance such as cleaning of suction cups. It also requires standard maintenance quarterly, six monthly and annually based upon normal use.
