INCYT’s weather station is designed to meet the guidelines of the World Meteorological Organisation and is an excellent choice for farmers, researchers and agronomists. It provides you with multiple points of measurement for accurate weather reporting to make key cropping decisions, including ambient temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed and direction including wind gusts.

The basic weather station kit includes a Davis weather station and blue node. The standard kit includes everything in the basic kit as well as a a UV sensor and solar radiation add-on.

Pricing Model

Pricing includes the hardware itself as well as the relevant data and reporting plan of your choosing, allowing visualisation through the INCYT app. Different plans are available depending on your reporting requirements. Battery life for the Blue Node is up to 10 years dependent on the connected sensor and frequency of reporting. Battery replacement/refurbishment service available – chat to our team for details. INCYT’s weather station utilises INCYT’s XR network, so you’re not restricted to only using this in areas where you’ve got a cellphone signal - as long as your weather station is within reach of a INCYT base station, you’re able to use the weather station! The weather station gets paired up with an INCYT blue node, giving you up to 8 (!) years of battery life!
Communications Capability
The weather data is available to you through the INCYT cockpit, which allows you to share this data with other users on your INCYT account. You are able to see ambient temperature, humidity, rainfall, dew point, Delta T and wind speed, direction including wind gusts. You also have access to the hourly and long term forecast, based on VisualCrossing weather data to yourself or anyone else you choose to send this alarm to.
Data Ownership Policy

Incyt customers own their data. Incyt has the right to use it to provide updates and improvements to software and app elements, as well as learnings for future product development and roadmaps. Incyt also has the right to use anonymised data for use in marketing materials.
